It is generally agreed that our herd of genuine, rare breed, long horned Afrikaners at Sandstone Estates are one of our more significant highlights.
We are not maintaining a herd of beef animals - we are maintaining a herd of draft bovine animals which is rare in the 21st century.
Our herd will shortly be split into two groups, Red Afrikaners and Bont Afrikaners. There will also be two distinct teams of oxen, one from each category.
