We could not for the life of ourselves work out what this machine does!

Our picture shows Terry Reilly, the General Manager of Sandstone, with this particular hand operated implement.

Any ideas?

Dear Wilf,

Sorry this is an old Teff planter. The seed box fitted on the two handles,
and the plate with the holes in it was used to adjust the amount of seed
applied. The little curved arm at the end of the plate with the holes used
to fit into a chain which moved back and forth under the seeder box applying
the seed.
