Hi Hester,

I am a Scale Model Builder by trade and have been following over the years the remarkable developments at Sandstone. I am Cape Town based and hope to be able to personally visit your fascinating "Railway Disneyland". Must I make a booking in advance? I used to be on your mailing list before e-mails became the norm, but somehow, you may have dropped me from your list because of my "silent diplomacy and admiration" So without a word from me, I became obsolete - hopefully you can restore my status as a lively enthusiast of the goings-on at Sandstone!

While I'm actually an Architectural Scale Model Builder, I have a great passion for trains, especially of SAR and have therefore built many Railway Rolling Stock Models in different scales. Recently I've built (1:24 scale) Narrow Gauge Coaches, similar to what you have at Sandstone, for UK Customers for operation on their Garden Railway Systems. I am working on a new order for Fruit Wagons and Livestock Wagons. I wonder if plans can be obtained from you of these vehicles and if so at what cost?

Furthermore these people in England, would appreciate so much to know more about Sandstone's Narrow Gauge operation. Any possibility to get them on your mailing list? I attach a few pictures of some of our work.

Best Regards
Jan Gouws
