As visitors to our site may have realized it has been suspended for the past month.  The problem was the manpower needed to keep it updated.  Visitors to the site have become accustomed to quite rapid updates.  There is no shortage of good information flowing in, it is just that it is fairly costly to maintain the technical and creative capability to maintain a momentum. 

Fortunately we have received a number of encouraging e-mails from visitors to the site who have said that they would like to offer their services, and in fact a number of them have suggested that we establish a Friends of the Sandstone Steam Railroad organisation.   We like this idea and are working on a plan.  

Due to the support of a few volunteers we will continue to update the site as of today (18th May 2009)...
