:: Sandstone Heritage Trust - World Record Attempts ::

Since the World Record Attempt on the largest number of vintage tractors ploughing in one field at one time was initiated at Sandstone Estates, we follow any similar event very closely. New Zealand is going to have a go next year and the attached article refers. We did make enquiries as to whether New Zealand would challenge the Word Record, but we got the impression that it was not on the cards. Had we known an event was being planned we would have sent our tractors directly across to New Zealand instead of returning them to South Africa, as was the case. Nonetheless representatives of Sandstone Estates will certainly make a point of being on the South Island on the day.
