2-ft narrow gauge rail car completed by Sandstone Estates

Supplied originally to Pretoria Portland Cement from Wickham of Ware UK in November 1962. It is Works No. 9234 and it is a Type 27 Mk III Open. He
originally had a 10 hp engine and has now been upgraded to a diesel using a
Toyota car engine.

Full credit to Desmond Clarke and to other members of the steam team at the
Sandstone Heritage Trust Hoekfontein Running Workshops in the Eastern Free
